Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner 
Salary:  £17,955.43 – 37.5 hours per Week

The partnership – This exciting partnership delivers a range of services within the provision of the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service. The service is commissioned for five years to help people with mild to moderate and severe common mental health problems, including anxiety and depression. Services will be provided across Norfolk and Waveney locations for people aged 16 and over. This is an exciting time to be joining Mind and becoming part of the new partnership.

The jobs – We are looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to provide high-volume, low-intensity psychological self-management interventions. These interventions will be based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution focused, integrative and person centered approaches and will be delivered to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression.

The successful applicants will be committed to delivering excellent client care, be able to work within a team & be responsive and adaptive to change. Full training will be given to the successful candidate which involves studying at University of East Anglia and attending a residential in Cambridgeshire.

The job is located in Norwich city center but travel to other locations will be required (must have use of own car).  We would also be interested in hearing from you if you are a fully qualified PWP

Service Manager  
Salary:  £23,548 – 37.5 hours per Week

The Job – We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the mental health sector to manage some of our projects. The role would suit someone passionate about mental health who understands boundaries and who is enthusiastic about leading three small teams in a variety of roles. The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Recovery and will be responsible for ensuring that the teams possess the skills, knowledge and motivation to offer and deliver the highest quality of care.

You will need experience of working with people who have a personality disorder, be creative and imaginative, have management experience a mental health setting and can lead staff by example. We would love to hear from you if you are a team player and can lead a small group of staff and volunteers to improve the lives of those attending the groups.

The Projects
Waves Personality Disorder Service – This is a popular service supporting people with a personality disorder to achieve their full potential. It offers a day programme to those who feel able to receive as well as provide peer support to others in the group. Norwich and Central Norfolk Mind are provided with clinical advice to ensure that all group attendees and staff have effective support.

Central Community Response Team – this exciting project aims to provide a 24/7 crisis support helpline and a dedicated drop in service for people with mental health problems. Evidence shows that these sorts of projects are very effective in reducing the demand on secondary services and also help service users to feel more in control.

A&E Liaison Services – Norwich Mind have been commissioned to work in partnership with the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust Mental Health Liaison Team based at the NNUH to provide brief intervention to people discharged from hospital but who may not require secondary mental health services after suffering an episode of crisis or poor mental health.

Personality Disorder Service Manager  
Salary:  £23,548 – 25,903 pro rata – 22.5 hours per Week

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the mental health sector. The role would suit someone passionate about mental health who understands boundaries and who is enthusiastic about leading the small team supporting people attending the group diagnosed with a personality disorder.  The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Recovery and will be responsible for ensuring that the support team possess the skills, knowledge and motivation to offer and deliver the highest quality of care.

 Bank Support Workers

We are looking for bank support workers to join our friendly team in our mental health residential service, Omnia. We aim to help bring change, provide emotional safety and the development of trust.  Omnia provides recovery focused support to enable people to reach their full potential with their personal recovery. We are committed to ensuring every interaction with a person who accesses our service helps develop relationships and provides an environment where they feel they can follow their interests and goals. Omnia is a well-respected service which from 1st April 2017 has been awarded 5 years funding to provide a service that is safe, consistent and effective in recovery focused practice.

Applicants need to have a good knowledge of mental health and positive wellbeing and have an understanding of the issues that arise in supporting clients to move towards living independently.  We will provide an excellent training programme including our 2 day Mind Mental Health First Aid course, Recovery Training and workshops to ensure we provide a dynamic ‘team’ approach, 8 weekly supervision and innovative client co-production with our recovery and social programme.  Hours of work are on a as and when basis and will include shift work: days, evenings, nights and weekends.
